Tolga was born on 1 September 1985, in Sakarya, Turkey. He discovered his curiosity about theater during his secondary school and high school years and had already become a loyal theatergoer in 2004 when he moved on to his higher education in USA. He graduated from Advertising and Marketing Department of Pace University (New York, USA). He returned to Turkey in 2010 for his master’s degree in Advertising and Brand Communication Management at Bahçeşehir University, but the theater had become an inseparable part of his life, and he continued working on his acting skills with a variety of courses and workshops during his master’s studies. He loved embodying the creativity he found in advertising also in acting, and he decided to pursue a second master’s degree in acting (>theater? >in the field?). He acquired his degree in Film and Drama at Kadir Has University in 2018. For his graduation project, Tolga performed the Lamof character from A Marriage Proposal by Anton Chekhov. In 2019, he founded BOP Theater with his fellow actor Güneş Hanağası.
